SCHEDULING SNAFU/COMPUTER GLITCH/TROUBLES WITH LEAGUE LINEUP

Folks sorry about this one, but there seems to have been a little scheduling snafu with the computers at Nytex. The League Lineup website and Nytex computers are not in synch. I talked to Nytex just now, and they assured me that their schedule is 100% accurate and correct. So make sure everony on your team knows what time and who you are playing.

This Saturday 7-25-09
Indians v Stingers 4:15
Canes v Bullets 5:45
Gators v Jags 7:15
Monkeys v Mid Air 8:45
Senators v Arc Angels 10:15

Sorry bout the mix up, looks like someone was reading the wrong line when they entered the schedules into the League Lineup site. The above times are correct.

Wow this is dumb. We are playing the canes now for the 3rd time this season and the Gators zero. I have given up on trying to understand Nytex. They are either snorting crack or retarded, and I would go with the retarded. This is just the icing on the cake. It was already laughable on how bad they are at getting the stats right for the games but now they do this, the schedule was up ALL season and they don't say anything till now. fuck that. If anyone who works at Nytex reads this blog I would advice them to lay off the peace pipe and start doing your job the right way.

wouldn't it make more sense just to leave the schedule as it was...since it has been up all season and everyone was pretty much planning on doing that this weekend.....

How do the Silver Bullets play the Hurricanes 3 times and the Ice Gators none? I am losing faith in this league and am looking at it as incompetent and a bunch of whiners.

The schedulers really need to take a look at this and fix it.

I'll be honest, if it were any other team I'd be fine with playing them three times. But the last team I want to play against is the Canes... AGAIN. We played them just 2 weeks ago, and let me tell you. Playing against a Junior hockey player in Bronze League is by far the least fun I've ever done in this league.

I was also really looking forward to the Gators game, as I am good friends with several players on the team!

All I'll say is that I have no plans of letting the so called Junior hockey player (Brandon Thomas) play saturday. So now maybe you guys can keep panties from riding up the crack of your a$$ and ruining your day.

So called? It was reported here on this blog that he was on a Junior teams roster. Real classy of you to bring him into a beginners league and actually let him shoot.

I believe this is what people don't realize. Every team has people on it that could probably move up, but its how they handle themselves on the ice that leads to the complaining.

Do they pass, set people up, coach others? Or, do they score 5 goals, skate past their own teammates and in general have a mightier-than-thou attitude.

Everyone calm down, changes are coming in the schedule to make it right. No one is smoking crack no one is bringing junior players, and the bullets are not going to have to play the gators again. Everyone take a deep breath and stand by for schedule adjustments.

I meant the bullets are not going to have to play the Canes again, sorry.

88, whats a$$? Has your balls not dropped yet? Your a big boy you can say ass without getting in trouble. Your ability of talking trash is equal to your skating skills, garbage.

So much for 100% accurate? Are we still getting screwed with the Time Slot? Our regular goalie can't play this earlier. He sat out last week willingly, but making him miss 2 games because someone else wasn't happy with their last week of games? Good on them!

Let there be peace! There are more complications to putting out the schedule than meet the eye. Instead of creating hard feelings, let's identify problems objectively so they can be resolved. I don't work there, but I can tell you that the NYTEX people who run our league put a lot of time into doing so and don't deserve to be bashed.

Apparently yours haven't dropped yet. You still have to hide behind and Anonymous post. What, to scared to actually let anyone know who you are?

Wow!!!!! More responses than we have had in a while.
I know the schedule will get worked out correctly. There were some inconsistancies with the schedule when the ice melted and we missed a week and had to move all the games. It seems like a year ago when that happened. The House and league Lineup schedules conficted. There is no conspiracy plan, nobody bribing officials, just a plain mistake. The Gators will play the Bullets their one time and nobody should have to play anyone three times.
As for the Stats we put them in as the refs reports them to the scorer. The scorekeeper writes them down and turns it in with the lineup cards. It is very hard to figure out who to give a goal to when the number isn't one on your lineup. Every week one or more lineup cards are not filled out correctly, missing player numbers, players first, last,or both names, unreadable, ect... I do hope everyone has enjoyed having your stats and scores in lineup by sunday evening or early Monday morning.
Lets all play hard this weekend.

Yeah so sorry for all the confusion folks. There have been issues with the schedule this season between the ice going down, and computer glitches, so thanks to everyone for understanding. In the golf business you deal with scheduling issues all the time due to rain, wind, frost, etc. Stuff happens no matter what sport you are playing, so lets all relax and get through the regular season.

I hope everyones balls have dropped, peace pipes been smoked, and juniors have been sent to their rooms.

A suggestion - when you see something that's not to your liking, take a deep breath, take your finger off the mouse and pause. You're probably not the only one with the same issue. Call your team coordinator or leave a constructive comment. This is a great site and we need to keep it positive. The individuals behind the scenes, keeping you informed, up to date and on the ice are doing their best to accommodate everyone. And until you've been in their skates, back off or better yet, volunteer. And by keeping it positive, can we keep the vulgarity out of it please. You can call me four-eyes,knuckle-head or airman anytime and get the same affect.

Peace, out.
