The picture above is of the Stars famos #10 Brendan Morrow, OKC's most famous recent alumnide.

Rules Talk
What is in the past is in the past, nothing can be done about past rules violations unless someone here possesses a time machine and is willing to share. In regards to the Jags situation last weekend, the Spider Monkeys never cried fowl or accused the Jags of cheating. Nytex noticed an obvious violation of the rules, and took action. The past few seasons have been steadily getting better and better about teams following the rules, etc up at Nytex.
The Jags used an obvious gold leaguer, a high level one at that, and had to forfeit their game. Whether the guy scored four hundred goals or none at all it doesnt matter. His presence on the ice was taking ice time away from bronze leaguers, and a blatant violation of the rules.
All that being said, Nytex is apparently watching the league, and going over rosters and scoresheets with a fine toothed comb. It is the job of the coordinator to monitor who is playing for his or her team on any given night. With a crazy schedule this session teams might get low on players from time to time, but folks remember we cant cross pollenate and use players from other teams or leagues.
The Bronze League is arguably the funnest league in the metroplex, lets keep it that way and try to limit our bashing of #99, #66, anonomous comments, talking about Ivana in nothing but a sweater, calling people faggots, or putting bounties on peoples heads. Lets make this session the best on record. I know the Nytex boys are working hard on some fun things for this league coming up, so lets keep it classy san diego!

The Bronze League Transaction Report
The API/Lackey Hershman Senators traded veteran forward Jared Johnson to the Keller Indians this evening for future considerations, a box of crayons, and three old style beers.
The Senators have too many forwards this session, and had to move someone around so Jareds number was called. Can ayone guess which video belongs to the real Jared Johnson?

First Full Week is Done
This week we had our first full game schedule of the season. All 8 teams played, and we had some really good games. The Stingers edged out the Indians in a shoot out. It was Yoon Kang to the rescue as he beat Indians Netminder Kacy “The Birdman” Bird.
The Jets beat the Whalers in another tight battle 4-3. Zach Gunther threw down the game winner in the third pushing the Jets to 2-0 on the season. The Killer is still waiting on the Hebrew Hammer Mike Alleman to make his presence known here in the Bronze this season. Word on the street is that he promised the Jets a 20 point season so that they didn’t trade him to the Bandits. Video of the game is above thanks to the TDA boys.
Speaking of the Bandits, damn, that team has turned around. They almost beat the Jets last week, and then stomped the crap out of the Senators 4-0. Sens defenceman Chad Siewert helped the Banditos out by having one of the Bandito goals go off his skate. Big story of the game was Bandits goon Jesus Campero. He was tossed from the game in the third period after getting his third penalty of the night. One checking penalty and two roughing calls, and Jesus had to leave. Bandits get the win in a hard fought physical game. Biggest story of the night though was Bryon Landis the Bandits goalie. Landis gets a shutout, his first ever against the Senators in the month of December at Nytex.
The late game featured the Jaguars dominating the Spider Monkeys 167-3. Not much of a game here as the Monkeys were only able to muster 6 shots on net. Senators goalie Andrew Busboom filled in for the Jags, and threw down the shutout. Rumor has it that the Jags had to forfit the game due to use of a one of the top players in the gold league.
