Now that league meetings and the first wave of practices have wrapped up it is time to move forward with the winter season. From the looks of it most teams are full this session, and with the two division break down we are set to have an awesome season.

The Stanley Keg will get a makeover before the playoffs this session, new name plates, painting it bronze, etc. The Kings are no more they have been assimilated by the Jets and Whalers. Also Fred Walters former Senators Captain is now a Spider Monkey. He was traded to the monkeys for a landmark deal that includes future considerations, a bag of funyuns, 1 box of girl scout cookies, a hair cut coupon from sport clips, and a breakfast item from Chic Fil A. This is the biggest financial deal in Bronze League History surpassing the famous two puck Greg Perry trade.

Also Chad has a Bronze Leaguer ticket package for you, one plaza ticket, one beer, and one hot dog for $16 csiewert@brahmas.com 817-520-3327 for the details.

Spider Monkeys got raped on this deal. Funyons AND girl scout cookies? Girl scouts are out of season. you can't find them anywhere.

I think they got a great deal. I love those mint Girl Scout cookies. The Funyons were a little stale.

WE have an age limit on this team. Since when did they allow walkers on the ice?

The original trade proposal was squashed by the monkeys. We wanted a 12 pack of rubbers, a malibu barbie doll, 6 gallons of blue paint, a box of KY Jelly, and a field and stream magazine

Sounds like a good time.

Well, we need to redo this trade because the Girl Scout cookies we received were stale as hell!!

I am disheartened to report that Fred was taken from the rink in an ambulance after hearing a pop in his ankle during the silver league game last night. The preliminary diag is broken bones and torn ligaments in and around his ankle.

Please show your support and let Fred know we want him to get healthy and off the IR as soon as possible.

That really sucks! Fred, get well soon brother! Chad just told me about it too. If you need anything Fred, we are here for you.

Just had lunch with Fred. He broke both bones (tibia and fibia) in his leg, and is out three months. Dr. said no surgery is necessary, so luckily for Fred the worst is over. He is in a cast, and will be out of work for 4 weeks as he is not allowed to put any weight on it.

So he is done for the season, sorry James and Spider Monkeys. Also I should note the trade is non refundable, you can not have your funyuns back.

Thanks guys. I can honestly say morphine was better than sex thursday. I am outfor an extended period 3 months according to the Doc. we shall see. I did enjoy the funyons. I can't drive so I have to rely on rides everywhere, its like being 15 again. I hope to spend some time at the rink over the couple of weeks.
Ya'll skate hard and score some goals. Hope to see you around. Oh yeah I want a refund on my skate lessions (lol).
