What a way to end the season! The Kings and Stingers played for Lord Stanley’s Keg in front of a fantastic crowd at the Nytex Sports Centre in North Richland Hills this past Saturday. Before the two teams did battle a special shoot out was held during the first intermission of the Texas Brahmas and Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees game. Taking part in the shoot out were
Yoon Kang
Roland Widmann
Brandon Rosser
Robin Burkart
Steve Meek
G-Dana Fenili
From the stingers and
Kent Gordon
Dave Opelecky
Chris Mosely
Bryan Daring
Rick Gregory
G-James Ayala
From the Kings. The shootout was a tie, and due to time constraints a coin (puck) was flipped where the Kings won. A closely fought battle ensued later that night with the Kings edging out the Stinger 4-2 to take their first ever Stanley Keg. The Kings were the Arc Angels before changing names this past season, and the Angels have won the keg before. So now in the modern era of the Stanley Keg at the Nytex Sports Centre the list of winners reads as follows:
Stingers
Arc Angels
Stingers
Indians
Stingers
Indians
Kings
Next season will begin with the first game December 5th, who will take the keg next season.

I think the reason the Ice Queens won is in direct correlation to them having Hvidtson on their team. They should all bow down and kiss his feet for bringing them the Stanley Keg.
I think the Bandits should have made a harder push to acquire him when he was a free agent, then they would be the ones hoisting the Keg.
Jags #1
The Ice Kings won the Stanley Keg as a team. One player is not able to to it on his own. In fact only 3 goals were scored by #99 the whole season. One was scored in the championship. There will not be enough players returning for Ice Kings to stay intact this next season because of games being played during week. #99 is now a free agent for Bronze League.
Bandits now is your chance. Snab up #99.
We are not interested in 99, we already have Perry taking up residence in the penalty box.
To the Stingers:
Thanks for a fast, strong game fellas. You guys wore us out. I slept most of the next day withOUT drinking after the game.
Dave
You might want to reconsider Bandits. Pick up #99 and your guaranteed to win it all. He's THAT good, don't believe me? just ask him.....
This is Bruno. My wife and I are looking to join a team for the next season. I want to skate out this season and see if I can score a goal. If anyone has 2 open spots let me know.
BRUNO-00
Bruno, #99 is starting a new team, if you skate out he can play goalie and that we can slash the crap out of him as he does every other goalie. He won't be needing any pads, HE IS THAT GOOD. It's obvious he never used a mask.
Bruno,
If this is a serious post, the Spider Monkeys need 1, or 2 spots at most. Email me at cbrjames@gmail.com
Bruno, if you are intrested we could you both you and you wife on the Bandits
Great job Kings, that was a fun game.
I must have missed something because #99 was cool as shit both times we played him.
Congrats boys.
Stinger3
Has anyone ever noticed that the crown on the kings logo is not that of a king it is in fact the logo for a queens' crown. Hence the Ice Queens. Maybe they should do a better job researching logos.
I can't imagine someone who knowes the differences in crowns has ever felt the touch of a women.
I can't imagine someone that is hooked on phonics has either....
ZING!
Do you like this gig?
That wasn't the question!
Do you like being chief of police?
Oh Greggo.....
Fry Street
just an FYI: the Jags are looking for some players to join us! we have enough coming back but i just want to stock up the roster with more players! let me know if anyone is interested!
Question is Ivana #5, can all of the Jags get paid up?
Dang...BUSTED!
Is that blood?
Heck, i'll play for the Jags if that means i can play for free.
Don't worry! They will be!
