Dallas Lady Stars: Stanley Keg Champs

The Stingers threw everything but the kitchen sink at the Dallas Lady Stars, but it wasn't enough. The Stingers had won the 2 regular season matchups but as often happens under that circumstance, the third meeting went the other way. The game was just as close as the previous two in the season. Final score 3-2. It's worth mentioning that the second DLS goal was a buzzer beater at the end of the 1st period - the faceoff in the Stingers' end with 0:00.9 seconds (yes, less than one second) was won by DLS, passed twice, and fired into the Stingers goal before the buzzer sounded. Mind Boggling.

Shocking hand gestures and unholy acts took place during the post game celebration upstairs, the most offensive photos are being withheld from the album over there on the right.

More scores and notes tomorrow, and throughout the week we will be discussing some of the upcoming chsnges to the schedule for next season, playoff formats, etc.

Keep in mind that the Bronze League All Star game will take place immediately after the Brahmas game next week.

The lady stars must have employed that Russian time keeper from the 72 olympics for that shot. What a great game for the keg. Shout out to Knute, NYTEX, and Zuroma for opening up the suites and puting on a great feast. It is only fitting the last game went down to the last shot of a shootout. Great times..... Look forward to the 18th when we start up again. Oh yeah you can catch some professional playoff hockey. The Conference finals at NYTEX on Saturday night as the Brahmas host the winner of the Odessa/Laredo semis. Contact Chad Siewert in the Brahma's front office for the i-league group discount.

Stingers were the only team out there in the championship game. Matching Uniforms, and a group of people that consistantly show up week in and week out. That speaks volumes in my book.

Amen brother.... They roll out the same team week after week. They have never been cited by the uniform Police. Rock on Stingers... No longer the team everyone guns for.....

The Dallas Lady Stars this just proves that Woman can beat the Men. I am sure it was a great game and the streak ends for the Stingers and begins for the Dallas Lady Stars Next Season

So when have men worried so much about what they were wearing? Looks like the Dallas Lady Stars just prove it's more about what you leave on the ice then matching outfits.
