Regular Season ended, the Stingers crushed the Sens, and finished undefeated for the regular season, and STRONG contenders to retake the keg.
New team TD Ameritrade Whalers played a scab group of silver bullets, bandits, indians, and moneys and lost. Greg Perry was in net for the Whalers making his I League record 0-2 as a goalie.
Playoffs begin tomorrow with the Sens and Silver Bullets taking the ice in the first match up. This game could go either way. Lots of folks are unhappy about the tuesday thursday quarterfinal slots, but there just simply isnt enough ice time on the weekends to accomondate. Best do the best you can, and not dwell on the negatives.

All right, now that the regular season is over lets have a comparison of the teams leading scorers, Starting at the bottom we have the Monkey’s Tim Odonell with 4 points (in one game) and the Bandit’s late pickup Zach Gunter with 4 points in 3 games. Next we have the Bullets own Kacy Bird with 5 points on the season. Then we come up to the Senator’s Scott Miley with 8 points. Then we jump to a 3 way tie at 10 with the Indians Troy Hoefer, the Jag own Drew Hart and the Ice Kings Kent Gordon. Now as we move up we get the 4 people that have 12 points on the season, those being, first, 2 Ice Kings, Brandon Decker and Rick Gregory, followed with 2 Stingers Greg Carter and Robin Burhart. And now for the top scorers, all being Stingers, first we have Roland Widman at 16, Josh Briscoe with 20 and at the top we find Steve Meeks with 26 points.
In summary we find, of the top seven scorers 5 are Stingers and 2 Ice Kings.
Now is it any wonder why the Stingers are 10-0. And to think their coach was complaining that none of the former Ice Gators wanted to join his team.
Now lets see just who, NYTEX forces out of the Bronze league and up to the Silver league at the end of this season.
Why don't you just get better.
Our coverage sucked against the Stingers on Saturday; they had a lot of goals because we gave them way too many good looks, which to their credit they buried.
They are a pretty cohesive group, so you have to have good coverage in the defensive end and take advantage of your opportunities on offense, but all in all, if we could play a better team game we feel like we can beat them every time we play them.
If we get past the bullets, we will give them all they can handle in the semis.

Once again...bad reporting on stats this entire season. Get the stats correct before you post point leaders for each team.
Guess I will get to continue to play I & D League. There is a reason I don't crash the net in I League now. Keep the total goals down. Playoffs coming I intend to play more agressive. Crash the net and score goals.
Signing your comments dont really mean much either. For example the other week Hvidston posted as Kacey Bird. Everyone thought it was Kacey for a good while, then the truth came out. So really just read the comments take them for what they are.
I played last weekend against the Whalers. That was a really fun game. Cool group of guys. I find it kind of unfair they put a brick wall in net though lol
I have money down that they wont kick Stingers out of the league. Im under the impression the Stingers give Nytex their O-Faces to stay in the I-League.

I seem to recall that the high scoring players from the Senators being kicked up to D but you will never see a Stinger up there, they perfer their heads up some other dark place. They'll cry to management and stay in the I league. Meeks should never be allowed in the I league, he has to out do his twin sister #99 on the Ice Kings . And if that cross dressing queen of queens comes near my goalie I'm going to clean his clock right out of his high heels.

I hope to see you there 99 but we have a problem with loosing before we get to the finals. Last year we lost to a team with 5 skaters. We won the Keg 3 times when NYTEX first opened bit nothing recently. Good luck and hope to see you there.

The Senators will hopefully see the Kings in the finals. It will bring joy to the fans in the stands to see 99 slammed into the boards over and over.
